This kit includes all the necessary ingredients to make 4 ounces of natural clay paste resist and mix a 5-gallon indigo vat. 

Whether you're a seasoned dyer or just starting out, you can easily paint and screenprint using the clay paste, resulting in beautiful resists when working with indigo dye. Unlike traditional batik techniques that use messy wax, this kit utilizes gentle clay that is easy to clean up and wash out of your fabric. The clay paste resist technique is specifically designed for use with indigo dye and natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, hemp, and wool. 

It is a wonderful activity to share with kids too because you aren't working with harsh chemicals- only natural ingredients and natural dyes! You will also receive a comprehensive guide to mixing your clay paste and how to work with your clay in an indigo vat.
